Justice for all
As an announcement states, 11th District Court of Appeals Judge Diane Grendell will again sit as a visiting judge on the Ohio Supreme Court.
Back when she was a state representative as a Republican from Chester Township, SUPCO might not have quite agreed with her in a legal complaint she filed about a Geauga County airport not getting some state money.
But nowadays?
Well, on the all-GOP SUPCO, Chief Justice Tom Moyer named Grendell as a visiting justice sitting in place of a recused justice in a Tuscarawas County case to be heard Tuesday (Jan. 12).
Isn’t this the ninth or 10th time that Grendell has become a sitting SUPCO justice, just as have trusted Appellate Court Judge Mary Jane Trapp and Tim Cannon, both Democrats?
