The Devil Wears Prada
Before Lake County Common Pleas Court Judge Gene Lucci, a jury convicted a Kirtland woman of selling such Tiffany, Dior, Prada, Versace and Gucci names. Lucci sentenced her to three years in prison.

ABCs of Precinct City
In the May partisan primary, Democrats and Republicans will be choosing each political party’s county central committee member from one precinct each.
With fewer precincts now in the county due to consolidation, some committee members may have competition among fellow party members.

Callender decides not to run for state Rep.
Former state Rep. Jamie Callender, who resides in Concord Township, was mentioned to be the leading contender to seek and secure the Republican Party’s nomination for the Ohio House of Representatives 62nd District seat.
However, Callender announced Wednesday that he will not seek the position.
